Dr. Samantha Nish
PsyD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in delivering evidenced-based therapies with children, adolescents, and young adults. My goal is to tailor interventions to my clients’ unique needs, in a warm and collaborative approach.
I obtained my Doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, where I received extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Management Training, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and other specific evidence-based interventions that target a wide range of behavioral, social, and emotional issues. I have worked extensively with youth and young adults with anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and trauma-and-stressor related disorders in various clinical settings such as hospitals, foster agencies, and therapeutic schools.
I believe that a genuine and authentic relationship between the therapist and the client is an essential foundation for the therapeutic process, and I feel passionate and committed to providing my clients with the knowledge and tools they need for growth and support.
