Amanda Delaney
LCSW

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) having received an MSW from New York University. My experiences range from residential facilities to community mental health and outpatient treatment. My approach is integrative, often drawing from evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while also incorporating mindfulness and other client-centered approaches to best suit the needs of the individual. I specialize in working with kids, teens, and young adults on a variety of presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQIA+ exploration, and emotional regulation concerns. I have training and a specific interest related to body-focused repetitive issues such as eating disorders, skin picking (excoriation disorder), and hair pulling (trichotillomania).

In addition to individual therapy, I offer parent coaching sessions as adjunctive treatment to better address each family’s needs. My goal is to create a non-judgmental therapeutic experience where clients not only feel accepted and supported but also experience real change and improvements. I am passionate about helping individuals and families through a strengths-based and collaborative approach to promote systemic growth and healing.
