Kate Golash and Kate Zayko are close friends and colleagues. First meeting at Bellevue Hospital’s Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program, the Kates were leaders in a team providing intensive daily treatment for high-risk children and adolescents. They continued to hone their clinical skills by expanding their work to include private practice with clients across the lifespan and fortifying their close friendship.
During COVID, the Kates recognized the high level of mental health struggles existing in New York City as well as the need for community both personally and professionally. With this awareness in mind, Empire Minds Integrated Therapy Practice (“Empire Minds”) was founded in 2021.
Our goal is to provide high-quality personalized mental health treatment in a supportive collegial atmosphere. Our mission is to bring our expertise to each client’s individual experience.
