Arielle Mach
LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with teens, young adults, and parents. I am passionate about helping people who are engaging in self-harming behaviors, such as cutting, as well as treating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem, ADHD, and trauma. I am extensively trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), supportive parenting of anxious childhood experiences (SPACE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I integrate evidence-based treatments while prioritizing the therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic philosophy is strengths-focused. I believe all people are resilient and have the capacity for growth and healing.
I received my MSW from New York University and have experience working in schools, community mental health, and outpatient settings. In addition to individual therapy, I offer DBT skills training and phone coaching as adjunctive treatment. I also provide short-term parent coaching for parents of kids and teens with anxiety, OCD, and phobias using the Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Experiences (SPACE) model.
