As a licensed clinical social worker and co-founder of Empire Minds, I specialize in working with teens and young adults, providing compassionate, thoughtful, and evidence-based therapies. I have a decade of experience as a private practitioner, and also spent seven years working at Bellevue Hospital, which included two years as Clinical Director of the Partial Hospitalization Program for very high-risk children, adolescents and their families, and a year as a social worker and therapist in a New York City public high school.

Born in New Jersey, raised partly in Rhode Island, I received my undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in Boston and my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. Before working at Bellevue, I interned at the Association to Benefit Children and the Northside Center for Child Development.

I work with people with an appreciation for their world, where they are, and where they want to be. I want to help them grow in their families and their relationships, protecting the confidentiality that is essential to therapy but also knowing that my job is to help build a greater sense of self and develop skills.
